Thaddeus (The eager squire) is a character in Fallout, part of Brotherhood of Steel. Thaddeus is Brotherhood rank-and-file at its most human: a chattering, eager-to-please squire assigned to assist a knight he idolizes slightly more than he examines. Loyal until loyalty gets complicated, brave in bursts, and gullible at professionally dangerous levels, Thaddeus mostly wants to matter to somebody. The wasteland will offer him several very bad ways to do that.
