The Night King (Lord of the dead) is a character in Game of Thrones, part of White Walkers. The master of the White Walkers, an ancient power that has slept beyond the Wall for eight thousand years while the realms of men forgot he was ever real. He turns the dead into his soldiers and — as the Night's Watch is beginning to discover — claims the living, too: Craster's abandoned sons do not die in the snow. He is winter as a will, moving south, and almost no one in Westeros believes he exists.
