Who is Mr. Robot in Mr. Robot?
The anarchist on the subway platform · fsociety
Mr. Robot (The anarchist on the subway platform) is a character in Mr. Robot, part of fsociety. He turns up where Elliot is: subway cars, Coney Island, the arcade with the funhouse grin on its sign — a rumpled man in a repairman's jacket who recruits like a prophet and escalates like a bomb. Mr. Robot runs fsociety, the hacker cell plotting to erase the world's debt by gutting E Corp's data, and he wants Elliot for the keystone. His pitch mixes revolution with something more personal, almost paternal — and his methods have a way of finding exactly the buttons in Elliot no stranger should know exist.
