Vesemir (The last teacher of Kaer Morhen) is a character in The Witcher, part of Geralt's Path. Vesemir is the oldest witcher alive and the closest thing Geralt has to a father — keeper of Kaer Morhen, the ruined keep where the School of the Wolf made its boys into monster-slayers back when there were boys to make. He winters his scattered sons like a patriarch counting silverware, mourns the trials nobody can perform anymore, and meets Geralt's child of destiny with wonder and a dangerous old idea.
